BOOTCAMP

  • When: Monday 7:15-8:00pm and Saturday 9:30-10:15am

  • How Much: £8

  • Capacity: 5

  • What is it: Interval training, circuits, games and lots of laughs! We run all year round whatever the weather! ​Different levels available for all abilities.

HIIT

  • When: Thursday 6:30-7:15pm

  • How Much: £8

  • Capacity: 5

  • What is it: High Intensity Interval Training. Short bursts of high intense exercise followed by a recovery period, getting your heart rate up and helping to burn fat. Your high intensity may be different to someone else's so we ensure different levels are available for all abilities.

BOXERCISE

  • When: Tuesday 6:30-7:15pm

  • How Much: £8

  • Capacity: 5

  • What is it: Boxercise is based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. It combines boxing and exercise with great fun. This is a great stress busting class and you can enjoy boxing training without getting hit. During this time we will be focusing on shadow boxing drills instead of pad-work to adhere with the social distancing guidelines. Levels available for all abilities.

STRENGTH

  • ​When: Wednesday 6:30-7:15pm

  • How Much: £8

  • Capacity: 5

  • What is it: A low impact class that will bodyweight and resistance band exercises to help improve full body strength. The perfect class to help you build your confidence and knowledge of resistance training. Levels available for all abilities.

COVID-19 PROCEDURES


Following government guidelines, all classes take place outdoors with a maximum of 5 people per class. Minimal equipment is used and is thoroughly cleaned after each class. Classes are designed to ensure social distancing is adhered to at all times. We ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance of the fort when you arrive and leave. If clients, trainers or any of their family members are showing symptoms of COVID-19 they must self isolate according to the government guidelines and must not attend the class.

BOOKING POLICY


As we have limited spaces per class advance booking is essential. Booking opens 7 days prior to each class, this gives everyone the same opportunity to get a space in a class. If a class is fully booked and not showing on the booking system, please email us at info@absolutepersonaltraining.co.uk and we will add you to the waiting list.

PAYMENT


Payments must be via card (preferably contactless) on the day of your class or can be paid in advance via bank transfer (details upon request). Unfortunately we will not be accepting any cash payments at this time.

CANCELLATION POLICY


We operate a 12 hour cancellation policy on all class bookings. Should you cancel a class with less than 12 hours notice, full payment will still be required. This policy enables us to ensure spaces don’t go to waste.

FACILITES


​We do have access to the toilet in the gym. The toilet is not in the immediate vicinity to where classes take place and must be unlocked by the trainer. We are encouraging everyone to go to the toilet before attending a class. We do not have access to a water fountain so please bring your own water bottle.

WEATHER


As always, we never like to let the weather get in our way! Classes will continue to run in all weather unless you are informed otherwise.

DIRECTIONS


Once you have parked in the East Gate car park at Fort Widley, walk through the big gates and continue to walk directly ahead of you. This will bring you to a slope which will lead you up to the edge of the parade ground. Once you have reached the top of the slope, loop round to your left and you will be on the parade ground where classes take place. For directions on how to find Fort Widley click here.

  • ​Where: Fort Widley, Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3LS

  • When: Tuesday 9:30-10:15am and Wednesday 7:15-8:00pm

  • How Much: £6

  • Class Capacity: 8

  • What is it: A low impact class using the ballet barre to aid with strength and conditioning exercises for the lower body and core. Get ready to 'feel the burn'!

  • Where: Fort Widley, Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3LS

  • When: Tuesday 6:30-7:15pm

  • How Much: £6

  • Class Capacity: 8

  • What is it: This class will focus on increasing your core strength and improving your posture. Having a strong core will make you better at everything you do, from day to day activities to your favourite sport. Levels available for all abilities.

Pilates - ​cancelled until further notice

  • Where: Fort Widley, Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3LS

  • When: Thursday 7:30-8:15pm

  • How Much: £8

  • Class Capacity: 6

  • What is it: Pilates concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength, posture, balance and flexibility. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. We do provide mats but please feel free to bring your own if you would prefer.
